CLIENT’S REQUEST:

In previous campaigns, the client and their former photographers struggled to capture dynamic, engaging lighting. The resulting images were often flat and lacked the vibrancy and energy the client desired. After reviewing my portfolio, the client was drawn to my distinctive lighting style and wanted to know how I would bring this expertise to their campaign. The project required shooting within a fully operational casino, hotel, and pool environment, with a shot list that needed to remain flexible based on fluctuating customer foot traffic. The client provided creative mock-ups and emphasized the importance of aligning the final visuals with their “play for all” theme, seeking a fresh and compelling visual approach.

SOLUTION:

To address this challenge, I proposed using cinematic lighting techniques combined with action-oriented lifestyle photography. This approach infuses each image with depth, movement, and energy, ensuring that the visuals not only stand out but also authentically reflect the inclusive and dynamic spirit of the “play for all” theme. During pre-production, I developed a comprehensive 16-page production schematics guide, enabling our team to adapt quickly to real-time changes in location activity and customer presence. This meticulous planning and creative approach allowed us to deliver striking imagery that resonated with the client’s vision—while seamlessly accommodating the operational demands of a busy casino, hotel, and pool setting.
